Tips and Tricks

Here are some Tips and Tricks on reducing your carbon footprint:

1. Conserve your energy: Turn of lights in rooms you are not in, unplug electronic devices that are not used, and use natural venting and lighting when you can.
2. Use renewable energy sources: Consider installing solar panels or sourcing your electricity from renewable energy providers.
3. Recycle and reuse: Try to reuse plastic items, for example, reuse your plastic water bottle a couple time before throwing it away. Always recycle items that can be recycled, like carboard, paper, glass, etc.
4. Sustainable transportation: Use carpool, bike, or walk whenever you can. If you need a car, choose fuel-efficient or electric vehicles.
5. Save water: Conserve water by fixing leaks, taking shorter showers, using water-efficient appliances, and watering plants during cooler hours.

These are 5 ways to reduce your carbon footprint. There are many more you can do than just these 5 so if you can’t do one of the 5 try another way.
